Swimming lessons in the Prague 5 - Barrandov area

The aim of the thesis is to map the compulsory lessons of children of younger school age in the Prague 5 - Barrandov area. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the importance of swimming, the history of swimming, the legislation of swimming schools, the swimming methods taught in basic compulsory swimming lesson and the teaching methods. In the practical part, we will find the results of an investigation of the level of basic compulsory swimming lessons in selected swimming schools in the Prague 5 - Barrandov area. The investigation methods are the method of qualitative questioning - survey and the observation method. The resulting data are statistically processed and entered in tables and, for better clarity, in pie charts. Teaching children the freestyle swimming stroke

The aim of this study is to compare two groups of children both practicing the freestyle swimming stroke. One group attended the Juklík swimming club from an early age and the second group attended swimming lessons provided through primary school. An integral part of this study was to compare the teaching methods, preparations and objectives used in the two models. Results of these observations are displayed in the form of graphs based on the results of an identical swimming test. Swimming level of applicants for study at FTVS UK

Title: Swimming level of applicants for the study at FTVS UK Objectives: The aim of this theses is to evaluate the swimming level of applicants for studies of physical education at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Charles University in the years 2008-2019. The survey will be conducted on the basis of the average times achieved and the average score of the candidates. Furthermore, we will probe the differences in the swimming level of men and women and in the choice of the swimming style. Methods: In this theses, methods of analysis and synthesis were used for data processing. Furthermore, there were used survey data analysis, statistical methods and comparison method for comparing partial results. Results: The results of the survey showed that the swimming level of applicants for studies at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports at Charles University did not change significantly in the years 2008-2019. Men achieved average times ranging from 01:28,7-01:32,2 and women 01:40,6-01:45,6. The changes were not remarkable, so it is not possible to consider these fluctuations in the swimming level as significant in the overall evaluation. A slight increase in the swimming level occurred in the last year of the survey, but there was a significant decrease in number of applicants...
Age profile of swimmers at European and world competitions in 2012-2016

Title: Age profile of swimmers at top competitions in 2012-2016 Target: The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find out the age profile of swimmers at the top world competitions in 2012-2016 in individual disciplines swimming in breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly stroke and positioning in the category of men and women at the level of finishes and finals. Methods: The data was obtained from electronic official sources. The method of data collection was the study of documents (start-up protocols). The data obtained was then recorded, sorted and evaluated by a computer program using descriptive statistics. In the result section, summarized results were presented using tables and graphs. Results: Swimmers had an average age of 22 years, with an average age of 21 years in case of women. In the final races of men, the age of the top performance was 24 years, in women the peak age was at 22 years. There was no significant difference in the average age of swimmers between disciplines. The demonstrable differences in the age of the individual disciplines were reflected in the finals. The highest average age was shown by the finalists in the discipline of 50 m butterfly stroke, 50 m finalist finalists, the lowest average age on the other hand, the 200 m finalists and the finalists in the 100 m discipline....
